🌍 A Life Between Countries, Communities & Curiosity
Like many, my path has been shaped by a mix of intention and unexpected turns — leading to a life built between the UK and France.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve balanced raising a family, renovating homes, building businesses, and navigating the realities that come with all of it. Along the way, I’ve learned, adapted, and grown — both personally and professionally.
🇬🇧 England
Born and raised in Surrey, I studied Linguistics at the University of Brighton before starting my career in IT with a Fortune 500 company.
Today, I spend part of my time in Dorset — developing new projects, upskilling, and connecting with the local entrepreneurial community as I shape the next phase of my work.
🇫🇷 France
With a French surname, France has always been part of my story.
I first lived there as an au pair, later as a teacher, and eventually as the founder and CEO of my own education businesses in the South of France.
Through my community group Côte d’Azur Living, I’ve also built a network that connects international and French families — helping bridge everyday life between cultures.
🧠 Beyond Business
I’m naturally curious and drawn to learning — through travel, conversation, and new ideas.
From Finland’s education systems to experiences across Europe, Asia, and beyond, these influences have shaped my approach to learning: practical, human, and adapted to how people actually grow.
Now, as an open nester, with my two children building their own paths, I’ve entered a new season. A quieter one — but also a more intentional one.
Still in my period of reflection, I’m now working in a more flexible way: writing, building, and exploring how education, mindset, and technology can come together to support both families and educators.
I’m energised by change, by meaningful work, and by connecting with others who are building something that matters.

🌱 The Past
I was educated at an all-girls school where we were told we could be anything we wanted to be.
Looking back, there was a lot to love — debating, theatre, and a strong sense of ambition. It was also where my love of French really began.
I was drawn to roleplay and interactive exercises — anything that brought language to life. I was also highly competitive and loved team sports, proudly captaining Jupiter House to win the cup in my final year.
I left with A Levels in French, German, and Economics. But by Sixth Form, I began to feel restricted. The subjects I was most interested in — French, Business, Politics — weren’t available, and I found myself disengaging.
It made me realise something early on:
when learning lacks relevance and energy, even motivated students can switch off.
After school, I spent a gap year in Paris before heading to university near Brighton.
Those early experiences shaped how I see education today — not just what we teach, but how we teach it.
Because I wasn’t a disengaged learner.
I was a hands-on, curious one ..trying to fit into a system that didn’t always allow for it.

The Present
After 20 years building my business and community on the Côte d’Azur, I reached a point where it felt right to evolve.
One of the advantages of building your own business is the ability to reshape it — to move from being in it, to leading it.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked closely with my team to build a strong leadership structure. This allowed me, in 2024, to step back from day-to-day operations and focus on strategic direction.
Today, I work in a more flexible, location-independent way — supporting families, educators, and education projects across France, the UK, and beyond.
I continue to work closely with my French team, staying involved where it matters: direction, decision-making, and key moments.
This next chapter brings together the best of both worlds — the foundations built in France, and the space to grow, learn, and explore new ideas internationally.

🌟 The Future
The next chapter is about applying everything I’ve learned — as a business owner, parent, and educator — to work that creates real impact.
My focus is on evolving how we learn: supporting both families and educators with practical tools, clear thinking, and approaches that work in real life — not just in theory.
This includes developing Grow to Bilingual, alongside new training and resources designed to help build confidence, consistency, and meaningful progress in language learning.
Alongside this, I’m continuing to explore how modern tools can support the classroom — always with a focus on simplicity, relevance, and what genuinely helps teachers and learners.
I’m also embracing a more flexible, location-independent way of working — building on my foundations in France while developing new opportunities in the UK and beyond.
Whether working with education teams, supporting families, or building new projects, my aim remains the same:
to create learning experiences that are effective, human, and built for the world we live in.
There’s space now for more creativity, more collaboration, and more meaningful conversations.
That’s what makes this next phase so exciting.
